How to Stop Mouse Movement and Keyboard Button Press from Waking up Windows 8/8.1/10 PC

Microsoft is doing all that Windows 7 users upgrade op.system to Windows 8.1. Windows 8/8.1 or even Windows 10 users can have a problem with Sleep mode on their PC. The problem is when you put your computer in sleep mode, after when they move mouse or press a button on the keyboard, the computer is turning on. Even from the little move of the mouse will turn on the computer. And in this post, I will show you how to disable mouse move and keyboard button press from waking up your computer.

Mouse

1) There is no need to download any kind of software. All we need to do is open Control Panel on your computer.
2) From the top of right side if "View by" is set to "Category", then change it to "Large icons". And now you can see the mouse icon, click on it.
3) Now in newly opened window go to next path:
Hardware > Properties > Change Settings > Power Management.
3) Now uncheck "Allow this device to wake the computer" line and simply press "OK" button twice.


Keyboard

1) Open Control Panel and from the list select Keyboard.
2) Now navigate to next path:
Hardware > Properties > Change Settings > Power Management.
3) And simply uncheck "Allow this device to wake the computer" line and simply press on "OK" button twice.

And now you can put your computer in sleep mode, which will turn on only with the power button on your PC's case.
